  • Star Track visit here Star Track is a Maryland organization that specializes in reproductive and sexual healthcare. Their trans care (YTC) is a specialty program for transgender people 12 to 21 years old. YTC care includes:

    1. free support provided by transgender peer navigators

    2. access and management of hormone therapy & puberty blockers

    3. trans affirming gynecological services

    4. customized support and guidance for families, friends, and partners of transgender clients

    5. counseling referrals, clinical letter of support, and coordination for gender affirming surgery

Their services include a 24 Hour Hotline, Client Service Coordinators who provide safety planning, basic needs assistance, and resource referral, Legal Clinic services providing free legal advice and representation, access to emergency shelter, Individual and group counseling, a comprehensive Children’s Program and abuse Intervention through the Gateway Project and Si Puedo which provides psycho-educational programs to individuals (men and women) who are emotionally, physically, or sexually abusing their partner; assists and educate victims to ensure their safety. Provides classes and activities such as aerobics, Tai Chi, volleyball, softball, ballroom and line dance, painting and drawing, ceramics, and crafts; educational classes such as Art History, Nature Studies, Psychology of Aging, Cultures of American Indians, computer classes and presentations on a wide variety of subjects of interest to the senior population; leisure activities including Aviation Historians, model railroading, cards, billiards, bridge and bingo; Congregate (group) meals are catered and must be reserved by noon the day before. County Ride transportation can provide rides to medical appointments, shopping, and other general-purpose trips. Application forms may be obtained and County Ride tickets may be purchased at the center; Center Connection program is for those who need support connecting to the activities and services provided by the senior center; Senior Information and Assistance provides information or help with services and benefits to senior residents of Baltimore County including homebound seniors visit. Volunteer Program matches volunteers with homebound seniors who need assistance and can provide friendly visits, telephone visiting, escort trips, shopping assistance, light housekeeping chores and correspondence assistance. **Due to COVID19- center is closed until further notice.
